CCA Board Meeting Opens in Wuhan, Hubei Today

The Fifth Plenary Meeting of the Second Session of China Cotton Association Board and an Industry Situation Analysis Meeting opens this morning in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Government representatives from National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Agriculture, Bureau of Statistics, State administration of Industry and Commerce, Agricultural Development Bank of China, China Fiber Inspection Bureau and other relevant departments, together with over one hundred member representatives of CCA attend the meeting. Mr. Luo Xinhua, Deputy Secretary General of Hubei provincial government makes the welcome speech on behalf of local government, and Mr. Zhao Dongfeng, President of Hubei Supply & Marketing Cooperative Federation, as the direct supervisor of local cotton association attends the meeting.
The meeting will elect the new on-duty chairman of the board. The plenary meeting report, 2012 annual summary and 2013 annual plan will be submitted for deliberation to the board. The board will also learn to the 2012 financial report. The secretariat of CCA will report the update of domestic cotton supply and demand, the government policy and national cotton standard reforming.
