Hebei cotton production estimated 0.57 million tons this year

　　An investigation by Hebei's Bureau of Agriculture has shown that cotton areas in Hebei in 2006 reached 9.5 million mu, up by 10.5 percent against the figure for last year. Because of the low temperature in the early stages of development, some cotton got cyanosis and grew not well compared with last year. The production is estimated at only 570,000 tons, against 577,000 last year.
