Around Labors Day, cotton in northwest China, the Huanghuai river basin and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river entered the seeding stage, and some areas of Xinjiang entered the third leaf stage. Most of the weather in northwest, north China and Huang-huai region is fine, the average temperature is 3~4 ℃ higher than the same period of the year, most of the moisture content is good, conducive to cotton sowing; The temperature in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river is relatively high.

2. The domestic and foreign cotton prices are rising

Last week (April 26-May 1), the spread of foreign epidemics gradually slowed down, many countries began to resume work and production gradually to restore the economy, and domestic and foreign cotton prices rebounded slightly. The weekly average price of the China Cotton Price Index CC Index (3128B) was 11,484 Yuan/ton, up 52 Yuan month-on-month; the weekly average price of the Cotlook A index was 65.66 cents/lb, an increase of 1.34 cents month-on-month.
