China Cotton Association Introduction

China Cotton Association is a non-profit organization in the area of cotton with the status of national social group, its members include cotton farmers, cotton farmers' cooperatives, enterprises engaged in cotton production, purchase, processing, logistics and operation, cotton machine manufacturing cooperation, cotton textile enterprises, local cotton branches and cotton research institutes.

Since its establishment, CCA aims to service for the long term development of China cotton industry, and represent the interests of the industry. Nowadays, CCA has won the acknowledgement and support from both government and industry, with impact to society and international cotton community. With its more than 3,600 members including 3,400 cotton farmer members, CCA’s members take around 75% national market share. Programs like China Cotton Pre-alarm System, China Cotton Trade Regulations, China Cotton Quality Certificate are highly recognized by the industry. Its branch associations cover 15 main cotton production provinces and more than 60% of cotton production counties of China, to form the national cotton association network. From 2013-2015, Madam Gao, president of CCA, had served as the chairperson of Committee for International Co-operation between Cotton Associations (CICCA).
