Tianjin cotton plantation area 1.06 million mu in 2006

　　According to the figure from Tianjin Agriculture Bureau, Tianjin cotton plantation area attain 1.06 million mu, an increase by 15.42% of 0.14 million mu against last year’s 0.92 million mu. Based on the average production 90.9kg per mu last year, the total cotton output in 2006/2007 season will be 964 million tons, more 15.45% of 125 million tons than last season.
