China Cotton Association attended the CICCA Consultative Group meeting

A meeting of the CICCA Consultative Group was held on Friday 8 June 2018 during the China Cotton Industry Development Summit Conference held in Harbin. Ms. Gao Fang, the Executive Vice President, Mr. Yang Zhaoliang, the Vice Secretary-General of the CCA attended the meeting.

The delegates agreed to approve SA's application to join the ICA, and other non-participants will seek their views by email.

It’s been discussed about the applications of APPA, BCA, BTMA and VCOSA to join CICCA. The meeting decided to write to the BTMA and VCOSA to promote the sanctity of the CICCA and the contract, given the existence of the remaining defaulting companies. With regard to the BCA, further confirmation of its membership list is required.
