China’s raw cotton import in October

　　According to the statistics of General Administration of Customs, China imported 137,000 tons raw cotton in October 2007, which decreased 97,400 tons or 41.55% to September, rised by 52,000 tons or 61.25% compared with the same period last year.
　　The cumulative imports in the first ten months were 2.0353 million tonnes, 37.33% lower than the same time last year.
