2008’China Cotton Summit will be held in Hangzhou

  2008’China Cotton Summit will be held on May 7 and 8 2008 in Hangzhou city, Zhejiang province, China. China Cotton Summit holds every two years since 2004, which will be the third session in 2008. Base on the successful experience from the previous two sessions, this year’s summit will be incorporated with the International Cotton Fair with the theme “The Chinese and Global Cotton Industry: Long Term Development and Cooperation”.
  This Summit will invite government officials from National Development Reform Commission (NDRC), Ministry of Finance (MOF), Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), Ministry of Commerce (MOC), State Administration for Industry & Commerce, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Agricultural Development Bank of China (ADB), China National Textile and Apparel Council and merchants from domestic and abroad. Speeches, dialogues and business talk will be adopted in the summit to deeply discuss some issues of China and global cotton industry in order to help the participants to master global cotton trends.
