China’s raw cotton import in December

According to the statistics of General Administration of Customs, China imported 322,600 tons raw cotton in December 2007, which increased 220,800 tons or 216.83% to November, increased by 82,300 tons or 34.25% compared with the same period last year.
The cumulative imports in 2007 were 2.4596 million tons, 32.47% lower than last year.
