China’s yarn production in August

According to the data from National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the yarn production of the mills above disignated size, rose by 8.42% to 1.5795 million tons and by 33.96% year-on-year.
In the 2005/06 season (September to August), the cumulative yarn output rose by 26.88% to 16.0206 million tons.
The yarn production in the first eight months in 2006 calendar year increased by 25.12% to 10.8224 million tons.
