700,000 tonnes of additional quota have been allocated

According to China Cotton Association's acquisition from the department-concerned, 700,000 tons of additional quota have been allocated to the mills before the National Day. This kind of quota will be valid till December 31, 2006 and the duty will be "sliding scale duty".
